【最近嬉しかったこと】
昔はたくさん絵を描いていたのですが、何年か前から描かなくなりました。
最近になって、また絵を描く事を始めました！最初は自分が描いた絵を好きになれなかったらどうしよう？という思いもあり、始めるのが怖いという気持ちもありました。
その結果、描き終わった絵には満足しています！人の目を気にせず、失敗を恐れずに、始めてみるという事が大事なんだという事に気づけた事が嬉しかったです。
【What made you happy recently?】
I use to paint a lot when I was young but I have stopped for many years. The day before yesterday, I started painting again! Initially, I felt afraid to start because I am afraid to fail. What if I didn’t like what I painted? In the end, I just went with it and completed a painting that I actually quite liked! It made me happy because I realise that all I need to do was start and to let go of my fears of failure and public judgement.

【住んでいる街の好きなところ】
ハンブルグの好きなところは水に近く、色々なエリアがあり、多種多様な人がいるところ。
いつも何か新しい事が起きているというのも、魅力の一つです。
【What do you like about the city you live?】
Hamburg is a beautiful city close to the water with diverse neighborhoods and people. That are some of many reasons I like Hamburg. There is always something new happening!

【将来の夢】
場所にとらわれない働き方をしながら、世界中を旅行して、いつでも好きな時にDIYワークショップを開催する事です。
【What is your dream?】
My dream is to be a digital nomad, travel the world and host creative DIY workshops wherever I can.

【ママになったらどんなママになりたいか】
あまり考え事はなかったのですが、自分の子供たちにクリエイティブになれる自由を与えられるママになりたいです。
【What kind of mom would you like to be?】
I haven’t put that much thought to this question before but if I were to give an answer, I would like to be a mom which allows my children to have creative freedom in what they do.

【目標・活動など】
私はCreative NightsというDIYのコミュニティを主宰しています。カナダからハンブルグに引っ越してきた時に始めました。
ドイツに引っ越したばかりの頃は孤独で、彼氏以外は友達もいませんでした。

寂しさを紛らわせるために、またものづくりを始めました。一人で作るのも楽しいですが、大人数でやるほうが楽しいし、色んなインスピレーションを受けられます。そして大好きなDIYをしながら、沢山の人に出会えるようにワークショップを開催する事に決めました！

数年前からメンバーの数は800人になり、友達に助けてもらいながら今までに20を超えるイベントを開催しました！
いつかこの活動を本業にして、クリエイティビティの輪もっと色んなところへ広げていきたいです。

【Free description, your goals and activities】
My creative DIY community is called “Creative Nights”. I actually started this community when I first moved to Hamburg from Canada. I felt lonely at first and I didn’t have any friends except my boyfriend.

To cure my loneliness, I decided to do crafting again. Crafting alone is fun but it is always better in a group! Where else would you get the inspiration? Therefore, I decided to start hosting crafting workshops so I get to meet new people and at the same time do what I love.

Since a few years ago, the community has grown to more than 800 members and I have hosted more than 20 workshops with some help from my friends! I hope someday I will be able to do this full time and spread more creativity everywhere!
